Burnley Tennis Club has 6 all-weather courts, 3 of which are floodlit. We have a solid members base of adults, students and juniors who compete in the East Lancs League as well as the Burnley District Evening League is also well supported by club members.
The recently refurbished clubhouse is the centre of social nights and has a fully licenced bar; it provides a social hub where members and their family and friends can enjoy a range of events and activities that the club holds over the year.
The clubhouse and courts have been designed to support disabled access.
The Club gained Clubmark in 2009 and in 2010 was awarded the prestigious Beacon status, one of only 600 of the 2800 tennis clubs in the country and one of only 6 in Lancashire to achieve this.
The standard at Burnley Tennis Club is mixed, so there’s no need to feel daunted if you’re new to the game or you haven’t played for a while. We offer coaching to beginners and even if you’ve never played before you can join the club and start enjoying the game.
