Give your kids a taste of the real world on a great family day out at KidZania
Maybe your children dream of being doctors, firefighters or journalists? Inside the KidZania city, children from ages 4 to 14 can take part in a wide range of activities and simulations designed to introduce them to the world of work. In the town’s hospital and A&E department children can experience life as a paramedic, surgeon or baby care nurse. Or they can see how our clothes can be reused at the fashion recycling factory.
Each session lasts four hours and most children are able to experience between 4-6 activities in this time. Adults can also get involved and watch their little ones hard at work while taking a ride on the tour bus, or in the audience at the city’s various performance spaces.
The in-town currency, kidZos, helps children to learn about the value of money. All children receive an allowance of kidZos on entry and can earn more by taking part in many of the activities, before spending them at the gift store or saving them in a KidZania bank account.
KidZania has a number of family-friendly food outlets, perfect for grabbing a hot drink, snack or family meal. All food and drink purchased on site must be paid for in pounds sterling - kidZos cannot be used in these areas.
Located inside the Westfield shopping centre, with easy access to the London Underground and other forms of public transport, KidZania makes the perfect rainy day family activity. Opening times vary, so we recommend checking in advance before you travel.
