Horizon of Khufu is an immersive virtual reality expedition created by Excurio. It uses detailed historical research to recreate the Great Pyramid of Giza and transport visitors back to the world of Ancient Egypt.

The experience was developed in collaboration with Egyptologist Peter Der Manuelian and the Giza Project at Harvard University, helping ground the virtual journey in historical and archaeological research.

Horizon of Khufu takes place at Transmission House, 11 Tib Street, Manchester, M4 1AF.

The immersive section lasts around 45 minutes, but families should allow about one hour in total. Visitors are advised to arrive 10 minutes early, and late arrivals are not permitted.
