LUMINISCENCE is a 360° immersive sound-and-light show that uses video mapping and spatial audio to transform the architecture of Westminster Cathedral.

A specially commissioned script by BAFTA and Olivier Award-winning writer Tim Whitnall tells the story of London and the Cathedral, with narration by Hugh Bonneville and live music from the Lux Aeterna choir. The experience has welcomed more than 2 million visitors worldwide.

LUMINISCENCE takes place inside Westminster Cathedral, Victoria Street, London, SW1P 1LT. The current London run is listed from 24 September 2026 to 30 January 2027.

The main show lasts approximately 50 minutes. Visitors should arrive around 20 minutes before their booked time, as late entry is not permitted once the performance has started.

Age suitability: All ages are welcome. Children aged 0–5 can attend free, but every visitor still requires a ticket.

Accessibility: The venue has level access through the main entrance. Some individual chapels have steps. A hearing loop and transcription can be requested, and free carer tickets are available.

Toilets: Toilets are available via the Cathedral’s north door exit.

Food and drink: Food and drink are not sold at the event and are not permitted inside the Cathedral, apart from small water bottles.

Parking: There is no onsite parking. Nearby options include Q-Park Victoria and Q-Park Pimlico.

Nearest station: London Victoria is approximately a five-minute walk away.
