3 km illuminated lantern trail through the park
As darkness sets in, step onto a 3-kilometre (1.9-mile) illuminated trail winding through the heart of the park. Every turn reveals a new spectacle - intricate lanterns, glowing tunnels, and enchanting installations designed to surprise and delight visitors of all ages.

Is there food and drink at the event? +
There will be catering outlets open along the route selling a variety of snacks and hot & cold drinks.
The eateries at The Yorkshire Hive will also be open but we advise booking in advance to avoid disappointment.
How long does it take to walk around? +
On average around 90 minutes depending on how fast you walk! The trail is a one-way circular route and is approximately 3km, or 1.9 miles.
Is day entry to the park included? +
Yes! You can experience a full day to night of magic with park access and Winter Illuminations entry.
What time does Winter Illuminations close? +
Winter Illuminations and the park will close at no later than 9pm. Please ensure you enter within your allocated time slot to ensure you have plenty of time to see all the trail.
