The zoo has its own car park, but spaces are limited and first come, first served, and it can fill up early during busy times like school holidays. Visitor parking is £5, while Blue Badge holders and RZSS members park free.

If you’re travelling by train, the easiest stations are Edinburgh Waverley or Haymarket, then a bus takes you right to the zoo entrance.
