For days out to suit everyone, even the biggest kid in your family, you can’t beat Clyde Valley Family Park. Located in Crossford South Lanarkshire, this is becoming a premier attraction near Glasgow.
Explore the park by train on a 1 km ride that takes you through the animal paddocks. As the animals inquisitively come up to meet you, give them some food from your animal cup. See if you can get a hole in one playing the farmyard themed 18 hole crazy golf course as you navigate ploughs, windmills and milk churns. Be adventurous in the Fortress as you scramble up climbing nets, over bridges and sliding down our many amazing slides. Walk up to the Folly to have a turn on even more slides, see more animals and enjoy the view of the River Clyde.
Get close to the park’s animals as you meet pygmy goats, wallabies, sheep, llamas, donkeys, chickens and many more animals. Don’t forget to take your cup of animal feed with you. No family days out are complete without cuddling cute little animals, so stop by the Small Animal Barn where the staff will show you how to handle chicks, degu, guinea pigs and rabbits*
Race to finish line in the Driving Zone at one of the go-kart tracks or take a trip around the park on a family go-kart. Very young drivers love making their own way around on mini John Deere tractors and bikes.
The normal park opening hours are from 10am to 5pm in winter, when it changes to 10am until dusk. Plan your day by following the park map
Tickets will be sent out to you. Expect them to take 2-3 days from date of purchase.
