Top 3 things to do at Africa Alive

Kingdom of the Lion

It is not every day that you have the chance to get up close and personal with the king of the jungle. The Kingdom of the Lion at Africa Alive offers visitors a unique view of the park’s lions as they graze, play and prowl just as they would in a savannah!

The Kingdom of the Lion is a must-see for anyone hoping to capture some excellent snaps of their day at the wildlife park. Here, you are able to photograph the lions up close, without disturbing them from the lookout lodge or by visiting their den.

The Wild Zone

The Wild Zone is an indoor play area like no other! Children can bring out their wild side as they climb ropes across rivers of balls, indulge in sensory jungle play and experience the thrill of balls being released as a waterfall from above.

This attraction is for little ones under 12 years of age and is the perfect time for other members of the family to sit back and rest their feet after a day of walking around the park.

The Safari Road Train

If you feel like putting your feet up, you could forego the walking safari and take a ride around the park on the Safari Road Train. The train is free for visitors to ride as much as they like and is a great alternative to walking that gets you to and from the best locations in the park.

The train runs from 11:30 am to 3:30 pm, so make sure to hop aboard before it's too late!

What other facilities are there?

Gift shop

After you’ve spent the day admiring the animals in the park, visitors are welcome to visit the on-site gift shop to buy a souvenir to remember their trip. The gift shop has something for everyone, from cuddly toys to mugs, and is the best place to find the perfect gift.
