Drayton Manor always puts on a good show for Halloween and Bonfire night. This year the 'More Than A Trick' Halloween special goes from 19th to the 31st October and guarantees a fully decorated park full of tricks and treats. Bonfire will pay tribute to the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landings. The sparkly extravaganza named ‘Fireworks Spectacular’ will be held on the 1st and 2nd November. Make sure to book your visit in advance as tickets tend to sell out quickly.
Marwell Zoo, located near Winchester, offers brilliant Halloween activities every year. From the 26th of October to the 3rd of November, the ‘Boo at the Zoo!’ will take your kids to a spooky trail around the zoo. Track down the 12 hidden monsters, decorate a magical wand and indulge on fang-tastic trats from the tuckshop. Want to have your own broomstick flying lesson? The wizard Lowedolf is back once again to teach your little monsters the secrets behind it. The activities are often tied in with the animals, and it's a fantastic experience for all the family in the October half term.
Blackpool Pleasure Beach, one of the most popular theme parks in the North West, is packed with Spooktacular surprises for this year’s Halloween. From the 12th October to the 31st October, embark in a plethora of fun activities for all ages.
At Nickelodean Land, the little ones will get ‘Nick or Treating’ with Team Nick and the Nickelodeon characters. This one is a perfect choice of halloween for toddlers and younger kids.
Back by popular demand, the ‘Vampire Pleasure Beach’ is straight outta coffin’ to creep it real this Halloween. Take part of a unique Halloween atmosphere and enjoy the many special activities going on around the park. From pumpkin carving to haunted houses, Blackpool Please Beach delivers a fang-tastic experience this Halloween.
How about enjoying an early Bonfire Night with the family with brilliant late-night riding? On the 26th October from 4.00pm Blackpool Pleasure Beach will throw a spooky party with live music around the Spooktacular Dancing Fountains. Get the family in full fancy dress and get a complimentary drink each (parents get an alcoholic slush cocktail and kids get a non-alcoholic version). Enjoy the Late Night Riding extravaganza and stay around to enjoy the fireworks at 10pm. Just keep in mind the event is subject to favourable weather conditions.

This year Flambards will hold the ‘Halloween Tricks & Treats Firework Spectacular’ on the 23th October, when families can enjoy a creepy Victorian Village by day, taking in the spooky rides and spine-tingling pumpkin trail. Then, at 7:30pm the skies light up with an incredible fireworks display. Oh, and the celebrations are livened up with a superb George Michael Tribute show for parents to get down and share in the fun.
From 12th October to 3rd November, Fantasy Island Theme Park is transformed into Fear Island, a unique scare galore. To close the Halloween season, the Fireworks Extravaganza happens on the 26th and 27th October celebrating the park’s 30th anniversary. Packed with nostalgia in celebration of the year the park was launched, parents will relive good times and take their kids through te memory lane. Selected rides will be open throughout the evening, so prepare yourself for a day packed with fun and wonder.
This year’s Halloween half term will be full of chills and thrills at Southport Pleasureland. For one day only, on 2nd November, the park celebrated the ‘Day of the Dead’, the traditional Mexican festival that brings friends and family together in a colourful party. Packed with entertainment that includes flame eaters, stilt walkers, dancers and music, enjoy a unique atmosphere and have fun on the late night rides. To close the festivity, a stunning firework display is the final climax as you know you get nothing but the best with Southport Pleasureland.
This year Stonham Barns hosts ‘The Carnival of Screams’ between the 24th and 27th October. The shows is lead by Alex and Robbie and features acrobatic skeletons, dancing zombies, and so much more as they take a hilariously creep journey full of illusion, tricks and specialty acts.
On 25th October, join the Firework and Halloween Spectacular, a day full of special activities such as pumpkin-carving competitions, costume competitions and a splendid firework display at 7pm. Part of the ticket sales go to support the St Elizabeth Hospice. Do good whilst you feel good. Halloween that does good and feels, Stonham barns is the place to be.
Spooks and sparkles will descent once again in the famous annual Halloween and Firework Festival which takes place at Huntingdon Racecourse, Being held on 3rd November, the family-friendly event gives prizes for best costume and spookiest pumpkin, along with thrilling fairground rides, plenty of food stalls, a real ale tent and just about everything else you could hope for to celebrate the season. To end the evening, enjoy the dramatic firework display starting at 7pm. It gets even better: under 18s go free!
If you don't know Shocktoberfest at Tulley's Farm, you've missed out on one of the top Halloween celebrations anywhere in the country. Located halfway between London and Brighton, the festival happen for a limited-time every year, this year between the 4th October and 2nd November.
