Things to Do in London this Easter Weekend
Get your raincoat ready, because although we’re set for a rainy few days, there’s still buckets of fun to be had in London this Easter weekend. Take a look and see if any of these days out are fit for your family.
If you want to stay dry and indoors but want a day out to remember, Dinosaurs in the Wild is a mind-blowing journey to the deep past – described by the public as “simply magical”, “totally mesmerising” and “100% heart-racing fun!” – Dinosaurs in the Wild gets you closer to dinosaurs than you ever imagined possible, right at the heart of the action, something the kids will go crazy for. The journey departs at 9:30am Tues-Sun and lasts for approx. 90 minutes.
If you haven’t already been, KidZania, located in Westfield, is an innovative, indoor play centre that lets your children’s imaginations run free as they explore more than 60 real-life entertaining activities in one safe and secure space. And KidZania has an exciting new event just in time for Easter… Wrestlemania 34! Your kids can design and create their own WrestleMania Superstar and then practice their best poses in the ring at their special WWE Academy!
The chocolate-y time of year has come again… which means one thing… Cadbury Easter Egg hunts! This adventurous day out is sure to get the little ones excited as they run through muddy woodlands, around mystical lakes and along nature trails to crack the clues and discover delicious Easter treats. Cadbury Easter Egg hunts are being held at national trust parks all over the UK, with 9 in or around London.

Bond in Motion at the London Film Museum is a fantastic family-friendly experience located in Covent Garden, London. This is a wonderful idea to bring the grandparents along to as well, and we know Dad will be giving the green light for this day out… Home to an extensive collection of original vehicles and props featured in the iconic film series, Bond in Motion is the largest exhibition of its kind anywhere in the world.
On Friday 30th March, Battersea Park Zoo are hosting Easter Bunny Day! In addition to a fun day out at the zoo, your youngsters can take part in special Easter arts and crafts, games, stories and the opportunity to meet some adorable fluffy friends… If you can guess what! If you can’t make it down to Battersea Park Zoo on Friday 30th March, don’t fear – they are holding an Easter egg hunt from Friday 30th Mar – Mon 2nd April which you are invited to!

From Friday 30 March to Sunday 15 April Wakehurst will be holding a series of Peter Rabbit themed activities to entertain all the family. There will be a host of games, crafts and storytelling inspired by Beatrix Potter’s iconic tales.
