National lampoons Christmas Vacation

This is the third instalment of the National lampoons vacation series which sees Clark Griswold (Chevy Chase) on his quest to create the perfect Family Christmas. However..This hilarious comedy shows how accident prone Clark soon finds that in quick succession, things start to go horribly wrong.

Elf

Possibly the most popular Christmas movie in recent times. Elf is the magical story of ‘Buddy the elf’  played by Will Ferrell.
Buddy was adopted as a baby and raised by Elves in the North Pole. He has spent his whole life believing that he’s an elf and worked tirelessly in the elves workshop preparing toys for Christmas. When he leaves the North Pole on a mission to find his father in the ‘Big Apple’ it’s immediately apparent that he’s not a regular New Yorker as he starts to settle with his new family.
His adjustment to the human world makes this a laugh out loud film which is heartwarming and perfect for the whole family.

Miracle on 34th Street

This is a remake of a classic 1947 movie in which a young Girl Susan, meets Kris Kringle played my Sir Richard Attenborough who is acting as a department stores Santa Claus, although believes he is in fact the real thing. This causes huge media attention and the department stores profits go through the roof. Although this is good news for the store rival retailers try to sabotage this by trying to discredit Mr Kringle who is eventually taken to court to prove in fact that he is the genuine Santa. Susan a ‘non believer’ is won over by Kris Kringle when he proves he is real by making her Christmas wish come true.  Another heart-warming classic and a perfect family film.

The Grinch

This is Dr. Seuss' tale about the character The Grinch who plays the misanthropic creature (Jim Carrey) who plots to take the Christmas presents from the residents of Whoville and wait expectantly to hear the Who is crying at the loss of their gifts, only to be puzzled by a chorus of singing which is brought on by every ones Christmas spirit.

The Snowman

A classic amimated tale of a boy who builds a snowman on Christmas Eve to find that during the night it magically comes to life and takes him on a journey through the skies. Many of you will associate this with the famous theme tune ‘walking through the air’.

This is perfect for younger children as its duration is much shorter that other Christmas movies.

Muppets Christmas Carol

The Muppets take on this classic Charles Dickens tale. Michael Caine plays Michael Caine with Kermit the Frog plays the role of Bob Cratchit. The other famous charachters like Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear and Gonzo are also featured in the film.
Scrooge is visited by the ghosts of Christmas past who show him the error of his ways, it is too late for him to make a mendz? Or is he past the point of redemption.

A fun remake of the story which children will love.

Enjoy and Merry Christmas from the Kids Pass Team.
