Deep, Dark Wood Adventure Play

Welcome to the deep, dark wood where your search for the Gruffalo begins! Say hello to Mouse at the secret entrance before embarking on your wild and playful, woodland journey. Clamber, crawl, balance and slide your way through the multiple depths of this forest-themed play area and be sure to keep a watchful eye out for some familiar creatures along the way. Height Restrictions: 90cm to 148cm.

Deep, Dark Wood Soft Play

Use your climbing skills to travel back through the deep, dark wood with Mouse and the Gruffalo to re-encounter Snake, Owl and Fox. But all is not what it seems in this dynamic, soft-padded maze, you’ll need to be active and agile to work your way through spinning walls, forest-themed elevations, secret tunnels and netted bridges. Height Restrictions: 90cm to 148cm.

Room on the Broom Toddler Play

There’s plenty of room for the younger ones to interact and engage in physical fun within this charming soft-play area. Climb, wriggle and slide your way through the padded, narrative pieces and watch the bubbling cauldron bring the magic to life through sensory play. Hosted by your wonderful friends: Witch, Cat, Dog, Bird and Frog, lose yourself in the story as you help Witch find some of her lost belongings. How many can you find? Height Restrictions: Under 90cm.

Gruffalo's Child Sensory Room

Those looking for a quieter and more relaxing play experience can step inside The Gruffalo Child’s night-time, sensory playroom. A mini, magical winter-themed land where you can enjoy a balance of physical and digital sensory play. Huddle within the warm Gruffalo cave or sit back on the tree stump and boulder themed soft seating whilst you gaze around the icy, woodland surroundings. Liquid lamps and LED curtains add ambience and heighten the winter tranquillity.

Zog’s Dragon School Challenge

Enrol into Dragon School by taking on Madame Dragon’s challenges in this multi-levelled, soft-play adventure. Meet Zog himself and test your fire breathing skills in the interactive, augmented reality magic mirror. Fly like a dragon as you use the hanging log to swing across the netted bridge then ascend to the top of the tower to capture Princess Pearl. In your final challenge, try your best to roar as forcefully as a dragon before sliding down the castle ruin to hop across the stepping stones and reach the other dragons. Height Restrictions: 90cm to 148cm.

The Snail and the Whale Seaside Play

Get ready to have waves of fun in this vibrant, deep-sea ball-pool. What seems to be a warm and sunny seaside setting in the daytime soon transforms into a bio-luminescent immersive environment at night. Watch in wonder and delight as hidden moments of the story come to life through glow in the dark graphics. Nautical inspired elements and a blinking lighthouse complete this fun seaside themed experience. Height Restrictions: 90cm to 148cm.

Meet & Greet Area

Now that you’ve visited all the magical lands, it’s time to get even more excited for the main event as you enter the wooded Meet & Greet area and experience a party like no other. Have you got what it takes to become an exclusive Gruffalo & Friends Clubhouse member? Help the Clubhouse Crew wake the Gruffalo for a celebratory end of show party and meet the terrible creature himself as you pose for the best photo of the day. Depending on the time of year, you may even be lucky enough to meet another of your favourite characters.
