More About This Offer

The London Dungeon is an actor led attraction recreating historical events from London’s murky past. Guests see, hear, touch and smell the past as they walk through 1000 years of history whilst participating in rides and shows. It can be scary, atmospheric and also hilarious, as the London Dungeon focuses on scary fun.

As well as a range of scary and funny shows there are also two rides within the attraction. These include The Tyrant Boat Ride, a boat ride to the Tower where thousands of people (including two of Henry VIII’s Queens) were beheaded. The final ride is Drop Dead: Drop Ride to Doom. There are a total of 18 interactive shows involving 20 actors. Visitors are guided along their journey by the actors bring the past to life through story telling. Along your journey you’ll escape the Great Plague of London , take a seat in the fearsome torture chair, visit Jack the Ripper's favoured haunt The Ten Bells and get up close and personal with Sweeney Todd, the barber of Fleet Street who turned his customers  into pies. You can also find out what might have happened if Guy Fawkes really had blown up the Houses of Parliament.

The London Dungeon is suitable for adults and the recommended age for children aged 12 and over. All children under 14 years old have to be accompanied by an adult. The full experience takes approximately 90 minutes.

The London Dungeon is situated on the South Bank of the River Thames within County Hall, adjacent to Westminster Bridge. The entrance is in between The London Eye and Sea Life London Aquarium.

The nearest mainline Railway station and London Underground station is Waterloo, which is only a few minutes walk from The London Dungeon. Waterloo is on the Northern, Jubilee and Bakerloo lines.
