More About This Offer
SEA LIFE Scarborough is a family attraction that is the perfect day out for anyone with a curiosity for marine life. Situated on the sea front in the heart of Scarborough, the centre takes visitors on a walk through numerous displays that showcase over 150 species of fish and many other sea creatures, such as seals, sea dragons and clownfish. The experience includes opportunities to touch and interact with sea creatures, witness feeding demonstrations and see rescued sea animals. SEA LIFE Scarborough is an entertaining and educational attraction that can be enjoyed by both adults and children of all ages.
Visitors must walk through various displays that are dedicated to specific sea creatures, including otters, rays and turtles. One section of the trail is a submerged tunnel through which visitors can walk and enjoy the experience of seeing sharks and rays swimming overhead. The centre is also home to Yorkshire’s only Seal Hospital, where rescued seal pups are treated before being released. The Interactive Rockpool gives children the chance to touch and hold crabs and starfish, and there are also plenty of opportunities to see live feeding demonstrations throughout the day. The centre’s newest attraction is Jellyfish Discovery, which gives insight into the mysterious life of jellyfish as they dance through multicoloured tanks. In addition to the sea life displays, SEA LIFE Scarborough also gives visitors the opportunity to pan for gold or test their skills at golf in the Pirate Adventure Mini Golf.
