More About This Offer
The Sea Life Centre in Hunstanton had to sadly close its doors in 2013 after severe flooding, and the centre's resident seals, penguins and other creatures had to be temporarily re-homed at other sea life centres around the country.
Now they've all come home, and the new-look Hunstanton Sea Life Centre is better than ever! The entire centre has been completely refurbished and there's so much to see and do.
There's a brand new underwater seal viewing area, where visitors can watch the seals playing and swimming through a glass window. Another highlight is the new ray tank, with specially installed curved glass so visitors can really appreciate these fascinating fish. Be sure to make time to check out the otter's new home too - complete with a diving pool, a stream and a waterfall.
Budding marine biologists will love a visit to the Marine Hospital too - it's a chance to see what really happens in a real fish hospital!
For visitors looking to find out more, be sure to make time to hear about the centre's creatures straight from the experts. There are talks about seals, penguins, otters, turtles and sharks at various times through the day, plus the opportunity to get 'hands on' with a wonderful interactive rock pool experience, where you can hold a starfish and touch a crab.
There's also a great gift shop on site to pick up a souvenir or two before you go home.
The Hunstanton Sea Life centre is located on the promenade and is open from 10am to 4pm daily. If you're travelling by car, take the A149 from Kings Lynn to Hunstanton where you will start to see the brown Sea Life Centre signs, which you can follow the rest of the way. If you're going by bus, head for the Southend Road bus stop, and then head straight to the promenade.
