Guests will be able to get up close and personal with a variety of species of these fascinating creatures, including the Brittle Star, Chocolate Knobbed, Common Starfish, Spine Star, Goose Foot Star, Red Knobbed and Sun-Star, which can have up to twelve arms!
Housed in a range of impressive displays creating an ocean of dazzling stars, giant windows ensure fantastic visibility and visitors can get a close up view and discover the pop up bubbles and peek-a-boo holes in the attraction.
Then immerse yourself in the mysterious and graceful world of the stingrays in Stingray Adventure. Meet the beautiful Honeycomb Whiptail Rays, Cownose Rays, Blue Spotted Stingrays and Zebra Sharks as you explore the tropical reef through underwater tunnels.
Be careful not to get wet as you venture through their underwater world! A close up and memorable experience you will not want to miss.
Blackpool is easy to reach by car, just take the M6, and then get off at the M55. There are then brown tourist signs to take you straight to the SEA LIFE centre. There's pay and display parking behind the centre. You can also arrive at Blackpool North railway station, with trains arriving from London, Liverpool, and Manchester, with the town centre just a 15 minute walk or 5 minute taxi ride away. The SEA LIFE centre is also on the tram route, with the nearest stop just outside the Central Pier.
