Based in extensive grounds of approximately one acre on Butts Close, Hitchin Swimming Centre offers a wide range of leisure opportunities for all the community.

The centre boasts a 50m heated outdoor pool (open from 23rd May to 6th September) with sunbathing terrace, and 2 indoor pools: a 25 metre deck level 8 lane indoor heated pool, and an indoor toddler pool.
The centre also operates SLL’s highly successful AquaEd Swim School, following the ASA’s National Plan for Teaching Swimming, and giving adults and children the opportunity to learn to swim in a safe and supportive environment.
The superbly equipped Archers Health & Fitness Club offers an 80-station Technogym equipped fitness suite, steam room, sauna and heated bench complete with exclusive members changing rooms. The latest addition has seen the building of 3 new multi-purpose fitness studios.
