Teach your kids about the world around them during a fun-filled family day out at Eureka.
Designed for children up to 11 years old, Eureka is divided into 6 unique areas, all focused on enjoyable and educational exploration. Young visitors will learn all about the amazing human body in the All About Me exhibition and start learning about the world of work in the child-sized town of Living & Working Together, complete with model supermarket and bank. The Spark Gallery also hosts regularly changing digital exhibits from around the world to introduce children to the rapidly evolving realm of technology.
Under 5s have 3 specially designed areas to explore and play in, from the SoundGarden, a butterfly-themed sensory gallery dedicated to the beauty of nature, to Desert Discovery, where little ones can explore the sights, sounds and smells of the desert.
With fun and educational activities taking place in the Theatre and Imagination Zone over the weekends and during the school holidays, and special toddler only days throughout the year, Eureka makes a perfect family day trip, both in term time and during the holidays.
Take a virtual tour of the site with Eureka’s interactive map.
Opening hours vary between term time and the school holidays, so we advise you to check opening times in advance when planning your visit. Located in the centre of Halifax, West Yorkshire, Eureka couldn’t be easier to reach by public transport. If you’d prefer to drive, there’s also an on-site pay and display car park.
