The Armourgeddon Museum is built on a WWII bombing range and is one of the best collections in the UK. Ideal for family days out, groups and schools, Veterans and enthusiasts.
Exhibits include; an original 1940’s Anderson Shelter, re-built by local Venture Scouts, over 60 WWII vehicles including a Sherman Tank, Centurion, Bell 47 helicopter, Bedford truck and various Russian war tanks with assorted guns too.
The museum houses a dressing up area for the younger generation and interactive activities to challenge everyone; try your hand at decommissioning a bomb, communicating via a field telephone, using a morse code machine, navigating with a prismatic compass and, if you visit at the weekend, a viewing area to watch the tanks driving around the track and entering Tank Paintball Battles.
