Dive into the Year of the Penguins at Chessington World of Adventures Resort in 2015, where DreamWorks Penguins of Madagascar descend for an exclusive live show, a newly themed penguin ride provides fun and games in the park’s Africa land and Humboldt penguins frolic in a brand new walk-through experience! And that’s not all - guests at the Resort Hotels can even sleep in special DreamWorks Penguins of Madagascar themed bedrooms at the Chessington Safari Hotel as Britain’s Wildest Adventure takes on the penguin challenge.
Penguins may be the talk of the town, but Chessington has so much more to offer. Continue the family adventure with a spin on KOBRA in the heart of Wild Asia, soar on Vampire in Transylvania, see giraffe, rhinos and flamingos on ZUFARI: Ride into Africa!, and try not to get soaked on Scorpion Express and Rameses Revenge! Meet the lions, tigers and gorillas in the Trail of the Kings, hiss with the snakes in Creepy Caves and get lost beneath the waves in the SEA LIFE centre, before letting your little monkeys play in the AMAZU Treetop Adventure.
Chessington World of Adventures is a family attraction and is suitable for children of all ages. Some rides within the theme park, such as the Vampire or Monkey Swinger, may involve height restrictions.
Chessington World of Adventures is on the A243, two miles from the A3 and is south of Kingston upon Thames in Surrey. If travelling from the north, visitors should take the M25 Junction 10, or if coming from the south use Junction 9 of the M25. Car parking is available on site for a small fee.
Access by train is also possible. There is a regular train service from Waterloo, Clapham Junction and Wimbledon. Take the train to Chessington South Station, and it is just a short 10 minute walk to the entrance of Chessington World of Adventures Resort.
