About Us

The story of What Will Baby Be starts in December 2013 when my cheeky nephew Caeden was born. As the family welcomed our latest addition the mad scramble to find meaningful gifts started. Christmas and first Birthdays were successfully navigated, but by the time Caeden was Christened I was plum out of ideas! With a rough idea of what I wanted to achieve and a lot of enthusiasm I spent a week creating the first ever WWBB picture. It was well received and hangs in Caedens nursery to this day. Giving and receiving presents is not the point of these special occasions, but I was pleased to give something that pleased my sister and her new family and I think she appreciated the work that had gone into it.

After the christening though, something unexpected but very welcome happened. People started asking me for their own version of the pictures. As more people saw them more people asked for them. Sadly my career intervened and I was unable to help as many people as I would have liked.

In mid 2015 a change in circumstances presented me with an important choice; Do I look for another job, or risk it all to bring What Will Baby Be to more people? In August with the support of my family, close friends and colleagues I started the journey to offer the most personalised gifts in the UK. The first product is of course the much loved WWBB framed picture, but I have many ideas for additional gifts that I hope to share with you in the future.
