As resident of the Newtown, I’ve been searching for a space we could transform into a “home from home”, since 2006. Now that I’ve found our venue, completed the restoration work and opened our doors I truly hope you’ll visit us and experience the unique dining and drinking experience I’ve created.
Peter Adshead – General Manager
Peter comes from Anglesey and what Peter does not know about wine is not worth knowing! With an abundance of experience in hospitality having worked in Champany Inn, No1 at The Balmoral and The Pompadour by Galvin, Peter decided at Edinburgh University not to pursue a career in physics; our gain. He runs marathons for fun even though his passion is really cycling!
Gary Cromie – Head Chef
No venue can deliver on its promise without a good Head Chef, and in Gary Cromie, we have secured one of the most experienced and talented chefs in the country. Born and bred in West Lothian, Gary has an abundance of experience working in some of the best known venues such as The Vue, Orroco Pier, Langhams in London and Waldorf Astoria in New York.
