We are a new retail business aiming to sell gifts that are a bit different and rather special. That 'special' is situated on the top floor of a dinky vintage tea room, 'Craft and Crumpet' on Blackburn Road, Accrington . 

A room stuffed full of ethically sourced, ladies clothing, gifts and jewellery. We hope that when you buy something from us you associate your item with being well-thought out as well as being beautiful. We all love beautiful things, don't we... Quality is the result of intelligent effort and we believe you only get what you pay for.  

We are constantly updating our stock  - we love Adini UK ladies' clothing because we like clothes that flatter and make ordinary women look and feel beautiful. Selling items like tops, trousers, skirts, dresses and tunics. Adding to the fashion basket, we're delighted with our selection of new autumn/winter fashions from the fresh ethical clothing company - Nomad and our fashions from a few UK distributors as well.

Our Small Shop Big Difference - Traidcraft PLC - has a few new items in store for you like chocolate fair trade advent calenders, Divine chocolate stocking fillers for you early birds as well as cute novelty gifts like our mini nativity scene in a matchbox, angels from around the world and the sumptious praying angel tree topper. Don't take my word for it - come and see for yourselves. To avoid the rush, we are now taking Christmas hamper orders.

We'd also like to say that, 'The Ladies on the Top' - ladies fashions is a sole trader business and not a charity. We are not a franchise of any other company either. We are not in partnership with any other trader at the Craft and Crumpet tea shop though we like to work alongside them in their friendly atmosphere. 

Our Refund Policy
Everything has a cost... We aim to be fair to our customers, which is why we check that our products are in their best condition before they leave the shop. Checking may be time consuming but it works and we have fewer returns because of this. We exchange goods if you prefer a different size if in stock. 

Otherwise, in the unlikely event of returning a defunct product, please return it with packaging and a valid receipt within a reasonable time period. Unfortunately, we don't pay for items broken in the post or refund sale items. We are a small business and don't offer free returns. 

We are reluctant to refund a garment if it is brought back with deodorant marks, make up, wear and tear etc as though it was hired from us, worn at an event and then returned weeks later for cash. We try to be as fair to ourselves as we are to our customers. We also cannot be held responsible for damages once goods have left the store. Goods are checked on arrival and leave our premises in their best condition.
