More About This Offer
Blackpool Tower Eye is a stunning leisure facility located on the main promenade, which offers visitors the opportunity to enjoy spectacular views across Blackpool and the coastline.
The visit begins with a look at the history of Blackpool Tower within a 4D screening room at the base of the Tower. The show involves sensory effects and filming techniques to bring the attraction alive. Visitors then travel via a lift to reach a viewing platform 380 feet above the ground at the top of Blackpool Tower. On arrival, visitors step out onto the SkyWalk. This is a five centimetre glass viewing platform offering panoramic views around the Tower, as well as underfoot. The thick glass covers all surfaces of the viewing platform. A head for heights is required, as well as a willingness to step out onto a glass floor many hundreds of feet above the ground.
On a clear day, it is possible to see much of the North West of England spread out under your feet, with views stretching from the Lake District to the Isle of Man and the great Forest of Bowland in Lancashire. Even Liverpool can be glimpsed in the distance.
Night time trips to the Blackpool Eye are possible and offer an incredible view of the area, lit up under the night sky.
Blackpool Eye is suitable for all age ranges. Children's tickets are applicable to 3 years and upwards. A variety of tickets are available, which can combine one or more attractions within Blackpool Tower, including the Circus, Dungeon and Jungle Jim's.
The Blackpool Eye can be reached on foot, or by the tram that travels regularly along the promenade. Car parking is available in pay and display car parks within the town. Blackpool is a coastal seaside town in Lancashire and is reached via the M6 and M55.
