A big warm Performatots welcome to you! We are the nations first dedicated private stage-school setting for pre-schoolers aged 2-5. The best way to describe what we do is to say that we are an Ofsted registered pre-school, that does everything quite differently!
 
At Performatots we aim to provide a totally unique and exclusive alternative to nursery or other part time childcare/tuition options. We operate stage-school morning sessions Monday to Friday, where your child embarks upon a magical learning journey, exploring all sorts of wonderful things from cooking, yoga to singing to speech and drama to streetdance! If it's creative, you can be sure we're going to try it! And, like those vegetables you try and sneak in to meals...we sneak a little bit of numeracy, literacy and science in there too, as we follow the Early Years Foundation Stage, just like other pre-schools.
 
We love to watch our little people grow in self-confidence, developing social, emotional and communication skills at every session. Posture and poise is gained and the ability to think quickly and creatively problem solve flourishes. Learning to take turns, share and love the arts comes subconsciously and students are rewarded every step of the way for good behaviour, positive contributions and effort. Ultimately we want to cultivate your little one's special creative talents and interests, whilst introducing them to new things to try out. We believe creative people are the worlds greatest asset to education, and the world in which we live.
 
If you're looking for full day sessions or an '8 til late' type of setting, we're unfortunately not going to be the one. Our emphasis is on quality rather than quantity. If however, you are looking for an exclusive, dynamic, exciting, vibrant and unique learning environment for your son or daughter, you honestly couldn't be in a better place.

We focus on an all round creative education, taught through an active teaching style ('kinaesthetic' for those clever ones among you!) with emphasis on debuting interesting and interested little personalities ready for big school. Performatots is not just for those that seem to have a natural inkling for the arts (although it is perfect if you find you have a budding little performer on your hands!) If your child is perhaps a bit shy, quiet or hasn't had much of a chance to develop their social skills then Performatots is exactly where they should be.
 
We don't think pink is just for girls and blue is just for boys. We don't think only girls chould get the chance to do dance and boys shouldn't play with dolls. So if you do, please don't be offended, but we're not going to be the right place for you.  We encourage our little boys and girls to be friends and no one feels silly doing any type of activity. After all, some of the best boys are now famous actors , chefs, pop stars and artists and no one can dispute that streetdance is pretty cool. Some of the best girls we know are heads of construction management companies, and one we know even climbs and chops down trees for a job. So, what we're saying is that Performatots is a fully inclusive environment! Our little ladies get to do the rough stuff too, and we let our little chaps learn caring and sharing play as well.
