We inspire kids from all over the world with a week of world class British school tuition, in the heart of London, offering English-speaking fluency and character development workshops alongside outstanding academic instruction and themed cultural tours across the biggest city on the planet.
World Class Academic Learning
Maths, English, Verbal and Non Verbal reasoning will be taught by our expert tutors in line with the requirements for the competitive entrance exams to the UK’s top Independent Schools. The tuition will be fun and intensive, ensuring a lot is covered in the short time we have. The pupils will be left with work sheets and materials, and parents will receive a report at the end of each week on their progress.
Cultural and Historical Immersion
The afternoon excursions give the kids a hugely enjoyable, enlightening experience in this amazing city. They will have exclusive access to museums, galleries and locations of important historical significance. What better place to learn about the laws of physics than at the Science Museum, or the Ancient world at The British Museum? Who better to give you an exclusive tour of Shakespeare’s Globe than a Shakespearean actor, or on HMS Belfast than a British Naval Officer?
Character Development
These sessions aim to improve a child’s confidence and communication skills. In an enjoyable interactive, engaging environment we look to develop their characters with exercises and work shops in public speaking, team work, etiquette and leadership. We wish to introduce them to skills required for personal development and future success. Focus areas include: public speaking and debating, team building, etiquette and manners and confidence coaching.
The morning classes are dedicated to academic pursuits, whilst the afternoon classes alternate between character development workshops and cultural activities. Children are grouped together by school year. All ages, from 7 to 13, may apply.
Classes will begin at 9am and will include lunch provided by Minerva Tutors. The day will end at 3:30pm and it is advised that children be picked up around 4pm, although this can be individually arranged.
