The Lion and Lamb Cafe is all about fresh, seasonal English food. At time when Britain is somewhat less British than what it was many years ago we are happy to produce dishes that represent Britain.  That is not to say that we have turned our back on Spaghetti Putanesca, however we believe there is a number of Italian, French and Indian restaurants doing their thing so we would rather want you to tuck into the homemade Shepherd's Pie and munch on the Scotch egg with piccalilli.
