The Khandoker is a family run business.
Founded in 1937 by the late Nazir Uddin under the original Bombay Restaurant right here in Manchester.
In the 60’s you may recall The Manzil Restaurant on Stockport Road. Nazir was the pioneer of Indian cuisine in the North West of England.
70 years on, the family are still serving contemporary and authentic Indian and Bangladeshi food.
To this day Sufi Khandoker is continuing the legacy with restaurants in Didsbury and
Bramhall both providing innovative dishes from classical recipes with a modern day interpretation.
