The Restaurant will re-open on Tuesday 24th
September with a three-course opening luncheon
and on Wednesday 2nd October the Restaurant will
open for its first dinner, with a six-course
tasting menu.
Winter will see the Restaurant hosting a private
dinner for Kendal’s inaugural Comic Arts Festival, as
well as a private dinner for Levens Conservatives.
November will see the return of hearty winter
luncheons and dinners. A celebration dinner will
be held on Thursday 21st of November for the Bob
McGhie Trust, which has provided scholarships to
enable young people to travel all over the world,
and work in top hotels and restaurants. Bob McGhie
was the first full-time member of staff in Kendal
College’s catering department, taking up the role
in 1963.
The College’s famous Christmas luncheons and
Christmas Dinner experiences will be available from
27th November. Be sure to book early, as they are
always over-subscribed.
